New Boston Speaks - The Next Chapters It has been a year since hundreds of New Boston residents gathered for a weekend to discuss what we wanted to see happen in our community. Several committees were formed and have been meeting regularly since that inspiring event. Receiving the Livable, Walkable Communities Program Grant was a direct outcome of the efforts of the Foot Traffic and Road Safety Committee. To learn more about ongoing activities, or to become involved, come to the next large group meeting on Thursday, May 11 in the school library. Start time is 7PM and we’re generally finished by 8:30. At a recent follow-up meeting, 8 Key Issues identified at New Boston Speaks were further developed The discussions focused on clarification of the problem/issue to be addressed, a list of possible solutions and project evaluations. The findings from this meeting are available here. Newly formed ‘Action’ groups of New Boston Speaks - have scheduled future gatherings to move forward with the great ideas that were developed.
